Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Scripture Canvas, a ministry project of Road to Jesus Ministry (“we,” “us,” “our”), collects and uses your information. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and the password you set (stored securely, hashed by our authentication provider). To prevent abuse of free credits, we also store a normalized form of your email (for example, with Gmail aliases collapsed) to detect duplicate sign-ups from the same inbox.
  • Profile & usage: your username, credit balance, subscription status, and a record of generations and transactions.
  • Content: the images you generate and any verse text or descriptions you provide.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (such as a customer ID and subscription status) but never your full card number.
  • Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and request timing) used for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service, provide and meter credits, process payments, maintain the community library, prevent abuse, communicate with you about your account (including email verification and password resets), and improve the Service.

3. Content in the community library

Images you create may be added to a public community library and made available to other users, as described in our Terms of Service. Please do not include private or sensitive personal information in the content you create.

4. Service providers we share data with

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and AI providers (fal.ai and Anthropic) to process generation requests. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms. We do not sell your personal information.

4b. Order fulfillment and physical products

When you purchase a physical printed product (poster, framed print, canvas, or greeting card), we collect and process the following additional information in order to fulfill your order:
  • Shipping information:your name, delivery address, email address, and optionally a phone number. If you place a gift order, this is the recipient’s information.
  • Order details: the design you selected, the product and size, quantity, and order total.
  • Payment: processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe provides us with a payment confirmation and a transaction reference.

We share the above information — specifically the selected design, your name, shipping address, email, and order details — with our independent third-party print-and-ship provider solely for the purpose of producing and delivering your order. This provider acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose. We do not sell your personal information.

Order records (including fulfillment status and any tracking information we receive) are retained for accounting and customer-service purposes and then deleted or anonymized after the shorter of three years or when no longer needed.

Shipping address data is used solely to deliver your order. We do not use it for marketing purposes, and we do not share it with any third party beyond those necessary to fulfill and ship your order.

5. Email

We send transactional emails (verification, password reset, and account notices) from noreply@scripturecanvas.app. These are required to operate your account.

6. Data retention & your choices

We keep your account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; note that Content already added to the community library or used by others may remain available, consistent with the license you granted in the Terms.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
